Frequently Asked Questions
Questions about floating? Don't worry we get lots of them and love to answer them anytime! If you have a question that is not answered below make sure to contact us so we can put your mind at ease.
1
Is the water clean?
Yes, very clean! Our float pods filter the water constantly in between float sessions, and all night long. The high salinity of the water prohibits any bacteria from forming in the solution. The pods also use ultraviolet, and ozone purification to achieve perfectly clear and shimmering water.
2
If I fall asleep, will I drown?

No. While it is possible to fall asleep in the pod, the natural buoyancy of the water will keep you afloat. If you fall asleep, you will be woken by the light and filtration system turning on at the end of your session.
3
I am claustrophobic, can I still float?
Yes! While we recommend floating with the door closed and light off, you are free to float however you feel comfortable and to get out whenever you would like. Many people with claustrophobia report no problems in the pod. You are in complete control of the float experience!
4
Can I float while pregnant?
Yes! The float pod is completely safe, and will temporarily free you of the weight of your baby. Some women report that their baby loves it as much as they do! If you have further concerns, please consult your physician before booking a float.
5
Should I bring anything with me?
We have all of the essentials for your float experience. We provide towels, earplugs, body wash, shampoo and conditioner for your use. If you wear contacts, please remember to bring your case and saline solution with you.
6
Can two people float at once?
Our pods are not large enough for two floaters at the same time. Since we have two float pods, two appointments can be made at the same time.
7
Will the salt hurt my skin?
No. Epsom salts will not dry out your skin or dehydrate you. You will leave the float pod feeling smooth and silky.
